STFC arrived with ten players and Wem after fielding just 9 the previous game at SAHA had 15 available players. Wem were soon on the attack and took the lead when Liss drove in from 12 yards. STFC were battling for every ball and certainly gave Wem plenty to think about. On a big pitch Wem were knocking the ball around well and doubled their lead when Rosie scored with a well placed low shot. Unfortunately STFC then lost a player to injury and soon conceded a third when Alix scored. HT 3-0

The second half saw Wem make several changes both to players and positionally but continued to put pressure on the visitors defence. Several chances were missed before with STFC tiring and Wems finishing improving Wem started scoring again. Liss added two more goals to complete a rare hat-trick, Alix added another and Rosie scored three goals in the last 15mins to take her total to 4 in the game.  Full Time Wem 9 STFC Reserves 0.

A keenly fought game with STFC performing much better than the league table suggests and hopefully when a few more players become available will begin picking up points which on this performance they deserve.
