With Shrewsbury only able to raise nine players for this game, the last thing they needed was a Alport team at almost full  strength and the player's  knowing they need to perform as they are now under pressure to keep there shirts. In games like this it is vital to get an early goal and that is just what happened when Sarah Field drove a 20 yarder into the right hand corner of the net and ended the game scoring four.. This was followed up a few minutes later by a Kerry Walker shoot with her getting four in the game, which opened the flood gates.Alport got the ball down and passed it around the nine and went into the break seven nil up.In the second half Stephie Gratton got her first for the ladies, with a lob from outside the box. Its very difficult to pick out players in games like this but Amanda Davey continued her very impressive form with  two well placed finish's to open her account for the season.Other scorer's in the game where Domenique Soler 2, Hannah Thomas,Emma Lewis,Bridie Edwards and an own goal.

As a club we do not get any joy winning games with score lines like this but we have a job to do as we try and push to go up, this season Great credit to the Shrewsbury team who tried there best to stop Alport, with the game played in a go sprit.

 

Sunday The Ladies will be taking on the best team in the County TNS Ladies in the Shropshire Senior Cup 2 ko at home, so come and support the team.
