Shrewsbury 6-1 Ludlow
As the score suggests shrewsbury won this game quite comfortably, they were stronger in all departments, from defence through to attack. Ludlow just didn't compete. Shrewsbury's passing was direct and accurate, they were stronger in the tackle and their movement was superior to Ludlow. Ludlow did score first from a defensive error that Stevie Cook pounced on and slid under the keeper, but as soon as shrewsbury equalised, only one team was going to win this encounter, 2 mistakes from Ludlow's centre back Katy Huntbach and 3 strikes from outside the box ended Ludlow's chance of winning this game. Ludlow did compete slightly better in the second half but shrewsbury scored again making it 6-1, leaving Ludlow deflated. We can make excuses with injuries having a major effect on the team selection but can't take nothing away from a very good shrewsbury side. Some Ludlow players need to take a good look at themselves because their performanc and attitude was not I expect. Well done Shrewsbury.
