Alport went into this game with six first team player missing, so it was a chance for a number of fringe players to push themselves forward for a regular place.With the changes to Alport it was Saha who had the early pressure, but came up against a brick wall in the shape of the  a very impressive Hannah Thomas,Louise Wainwright and Jay Warburton who to date this season have not allow any team a goal.  As Alport settled Amanda Davey and Kayliegh Lightfoot  took control of the centre of midfield and the very lively Kerry Walker started to cause problems for the Saha defence.It was Kerry Walker who opened the scoring with a run down the left and then driving the ball into the bottom right hand corner of the net. A few mintues later Nicola Field playing centre forward rather than full back finished of a good move smashing the ball into the top of the net.Kerry Walker got her second just before half time the give Alport a three nil half time lead.

The second half continued with Alport playing good football on the floor, making Saha work hard, which they did to the very end and should be given great cedit for this.Kerry Walker completed her first hat trick for her new club and added two more before the end.Annie Aspin got her first goal for the club with a nice lob from outside the box. Hannah Thomas who played the second half in midfield finished off a good move scoring her first of the season and picking up the player of the match award.

Special mention to Emily Dicken making her league debut, after moving up from the under 16''s, who had a solid game at right back. So a solid start to the season  for Alport  and it will be intresting  which team start's at home sunday against  Ludlow as Dom Soler,Dan Soler, Sarah field and Stephine Gratton return to the squad and are fighting for a start.
