after a month out of league action due to cups and referee mixups, dudley visited the s b s stadium for an early k o , with dudley having 12 players to chose from and ludlow the same a good game of footy was expected.

         ludlow started the better passing the ball neatly and had the early chances, dudley though soon showed they meant buisness gaining confidence as the half progressed, but it was ludlow who  made the breakthrough after some direct passing and a cross from the left found stevie cook in the box to slot home for ludlow to have a 1.0 half time advantage.

        second half ludlow stepped up their game and were rewarded when some desperate goal mouth defending was undone wnen lucy mathews scooped the ball into the goal. ludloxw now looking in controll went further ahead when stevie found the net from outside the area for her second and ludlows third.

        maybe it should have been all over but dudley wern't about to lie down, and took advantage of an injury to centerback katy huntbach who couldnt be re placed after an earlier forced subtition, they beat the offside trap and tucked the ball away for their first.they got renewed belief and seemed to get through on goal with ease, but for some great saves by lorna james dudley would have taken victory away with them . they did get a second after ludlow shuffled the team around for the last 15 mins. it was good to get the win after losing the last three games, but dudley gave as good as they got and are a team not to be ignored.
