Ludlow 4 v 2 Bridgnorth

Unfortunately for Bridgnorth they could only field 8 players, but this did not reduce the quality of play on a glorious day at the sib's. stadium.
Ludlow for the third week running fielded a full side this is becoming a habit but very encouraging for me and the club to see. but a hen night in Blackpool won't make it 4 weeks.
Now to the game, it may have looked lopsided from the touchline but this was not the case as Bridgnorth stated their intention straight from the start, and 0.0 at halftime you know who left the field the happier. Ludlow did have most of the possesion but poor finishing and telling passes going astray. Bridgnorth defended heroically and deserved all they got.
Ludlow got their game together in the first minute after the restart; crisp passing saw Laura Edwards slot the ball neatly into the net. Ludlow kept the pressure on but couldn't get another, it was Bridgnorth to score next after a 50/50 challenge on the keeper and the ball found its way over the line. 5 mins later it was a corner that done the damage when a player left unmarked scores their second.
The away side really believed they could win this, but Ludlow was patient in their play and eventually Stevie cook bagged the equalizer and quickly Ludlow's third. I still felt we needed another and it came eventually through the boot of Chrissy price. A brave fight by Bridgnorth and hats off to them, but the result was never in doubt (or was it ?).
