BRIDGNORTH V TGLFC
 
Anna opened the scoring for TGLFC shaking off the challenge of the defence to strike left footed into the corner of the net. 0-1 Jade made it 2 with an excellent goal from a deflection. 0-2. Bridnorth played with enthusiasm but never appeared to be any real threat. Lou had several chances to increase TGLFC's lead but saw them go unluckily wide. Niki Walker skimmed the bar with a fantastic free kick that deserved a goal. Bridgnorth were finding it hard to break down Chick and Tommo in midfield but when they did get through they found Nikki Mason in commanding form clearing any danger. TGLFC continued to press forward, with Lou and Chick narrowly missing, before it was Bridgnorth who hit back. Capitalizing on some poor decision making in the TGLFC defence they put a fine shot across goal and into the net. 1-2. The visitors extended their lead five minutes later when Tommo received Jade's cross and found herself tapping neatly into an open goal. 1-3. within two minutes they were further in front when Chick crossed for Lou to easily slot in the net. 1-4.
 
After the break TGLFC put Bridgnorth under immediate pressure, Tommo forcing the defender to clear her shot off the line. Jade then won a corner which Lou tucked into the back of the net. 1-5.  Soon after Tommo made it six with a skillful run evading the defence to tap into the net. 1-6. Lou got her hat trick with goal number seven after a clever run down right wing to beat two defenders and hit home 1-7.  With twenty minutes to go TGLFC made it eight when Tommo crossed for Jade to get her second of the game with a lovely right footed strike. The ninth goal game when Anna headed into the net from Chick's cross. TGLFC got their tenth and final goal thirty minutes into the half when Lou took the ball past several players to score her fourth of the afternoon. Bridgnorth did not lie down and came back with some of their best attacking play of the game. Sarah Owen took the ball past two players before being intercepted by Tommo in the far corner. With a minute to go the home side got the goal they had been threatening when TGLFC were guilty of a defensive error.
