Match Report: Bridgnorth Spartans v Dudley

 

From the off both teams looked eager to get the new season underway!! However it was Bridgnorth who made the first break through on the 12th minute when a powerful shot by Sarah Owen from outside the area was to much for the Dudley keeper to keep out 1 - 0. At this point it was Bridgnorth who had the majority of the play against the 10 players of Dudley. It was not long after when a great kick from Bridgnorths keeper (Rosie) saw Becky Allen through on goal to net Bridgnorths second on the 24th minute 2 - 0. The rest of the half was pretty much the same with Bridgnorth dominating the game.

The second half was quite a change from the first with Dudley the team coming out and taking a bit more of the play to Bridgnorth. with both teams having a fair amount of play and chances on goal  it was an enjoyable game to watch.
